H1N1 vaccination location in Martin County cancelled
Comments 0 | Recommend 0STUART -- The H1N1 vaccination clinics scheduled next week at Anderson Middle School will be cancelled because there isn't enough vaccine.
The next vaccination clinic will happen Wednesday, November 4, from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Martin County Health Department at 3441 SE Willoughby Boulevard in Stuart.
Another clinic will happen Saturday, November 14, from 10 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the City of Stuart Fire Rescue Department at 800 SE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
Both clinics will focus on children and young adults: ages 6 months through 24 years of age.
About 2,500 doses of the H1N1 vaccine were distributed to the priority group of children and young adults this past week in Martin County.
"Our recent clinics in Indiantown and Jensen Beach were very successful and ran very smoothly," said Mark Chittum, Martin County Health Department Administrator. "We need to allow our vaccine supplies to rise so that we can continue to offer the vaccine to the community".
