Red Cross shelter volunteer help

Area residents who are interested in becoming a Red Cross Shelter Volunteer should contact Kelly McIntire, Director of Volunteer Services at the Chapter at (772) 287-2002. "Now is the time to become a volunteer before a storm is threatening. It is a very rewarding experience to help your friends and neighbors when they need shelter from a storm," said Sawyer.

To discover the many volunteer opportunities with the American Red Cross Martin County Chapter, call (772) 287-2002 or visit their website at www.martinredcross.org. Volunteer training with the American Red Cross is universal allowing trained volunteers to assist any Red Cross Chapter in the United States.
