CBS 12 apologizes for Wednesday night's technical problems

CBS 12 would like to apologize to our viewers Wednesday night after our digital encoder failed. This device generates the HD signal and is sent to all delivery systems such as Comcast Cable, Home Town Cable, DirecTV and Dish.  In addition, it sends the signal over the air.

CBS 12 will be installing two new encoders this week.  A primary and a backup, so what happened Wednesday night won’t happen again. Thanks for watching CBS 12 and visiting CBS12.com
