Workers hang from building in Boynton Beach

According to the Boynton Beach Fire Rescue Public Information Officer, Steve Lewis, there were two workers making repairs to the 15 story Promenade Condominiums at 700 E Boynton Beach Blvd. The scafolding they were working on broke on one side and the two workers fell.

They we hanging by their safety wires until Fire Rescue arrived on scene. Fire Rescue pulled the first worker through the 8th story window with in five minutes of arriving. The second worker was stuck between the 7th and 8th floor. The bucket went up and he was rescued with in 10 minutes. The scene has been cleared. The workers are fine with no injuries.
