CBS 12 continues to work with the Palm Beach County Sheriffs office and crimestoppers to help get wanted criminals off the streets. Here's who we are looking for this week.
Investigators don't just forget. No matter how small the crime they'll keep looking until they find their suspect. It may be years, it may be months, but they say they never forget.
More fugitive to throw on the pile. Each week we continue to add names and pictures of fugitives wanted by the sheriff's office and all the police departments in Palm Beach County. Take a look. Maybe you know one of these people and want to collect a little extra cash. Crimestoppers will pay you up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest these fugitives.
Seniors are some of the most vunerable victims to predators who are after personal and financial information. and now you have a chance to help catch a man accused of tapping into a centenarian's bank account.
As usual, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office wants your help finding these fugitives.
In these modern times of computers and electronic banking, you might think of identity theft as modern crime, But this case dates back some 30 years. Palm Beach County Sheriff's investigators say the man in this picture, Juan Manuel Hinojosa has been posing as somebody else since the 70's. And for 30 years he's made another man's life hundreds of miles away a living hell.
From now on, Fugitive Files will head in a new direction. Since November, we've aired as many a four wanted fugitives each week. The idea has been to show these people to our viewers, people wanted for everything from Murder to fraud to theft. We are going to keep doing that, but starting tonight, we are also going to take you "inside" some of those cases. You'll get to hear from Palm Beach County detectives on why these fugitives need to be caught. You'll even hear from some of the victims and learn how these crimes have affected their lives and why we are all vulnerable. It's all part of CBS 12's Fugitive Files, our partnership with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Crimestoppers.
