Ryan Tannehill reports to Dolphins training camp

DAVIE. Fla. -- Saturday night Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill signed his four year 12.688 million dollar contract with the dolphins and ended his holdout.

Sunday morning Tannehill was in camp and working out with the fins after missing the first two days of training camp.

While the rest of the dolphins worked out in pads today, Tannehill had to remain in shorts by order of the new collective bargaining agreement.

That wasn't a big issue since the quarterbacks don't get hit and while Tannehill didn't work with the first team offense, he did get the most snaps of the fins three quarterbacks today.

After practice today Tannehill said he feels he has a shot to win the quarterback competition in Davie.Ryan Tannehill reports to Dolphins training camp

STANLEY CUP FINALS

BOSTON (AP) -- The fourth game of the Stanley Cup Finals is being played tonight in Boston. That's where the Bruins took a 2-1 series lead two nights ago with a 2-0 win.

Center Marian Hossa (HOH'-sah) of the Blackhawks is expected to see action after being a last-minute scratch before Game 3. At the time all Chicago coach Joel Quenneville (KWEHN'-vihl) would say was Hossa had suffered an upper body injury.

The Bruins won that game as goalie Tuukka Rask (TOO'-kah rask) stopped 28 shots from the depleted Blackhawks to move two wins from their second Stanley Cup title in three seasons.

The series shifts back to Chicago for Game 5 Saturday night.

MLB-SCHEDULE

UNDATED (AP) -- For the first time since the 1981 World Series the Los Angeles Dodgers are visiting New York to play the Yankees. The last time they met in the Big Apple the Dodgers won to take the Series from the New Yorkers and the game was played in the old Yankee Stadium. This afternoon's game is the first of a day-night doubleheader as their scheduled game last night was rained out.

In a quirk of interleague play the two teams have never met in New York, but have played six times in Los Angeles. The Dodgers and Yankees have played in 11 World Series with the Yankees winning eight of the encounters.

Three other day games are on the schedule with Baltimore playing at Detroit, Arizona hosting Miami and San Diego playing at San Francisco.
