Palm Beach County Schools delay school status announcement until Sunday

WEST PALM BEACH -- Palm Beach County Public School district officials have announced that all school activities and leasing activities are canceled for Sunday, August 26 due to expected high winds from Tropical Storm Isaac.
Officials are continuing to work closely with the Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center to monitor the storm's track and intensity. Any changes in school operations for Monday, August 27 will be announced Sunday, following the county's 2 p.m. Emergency Operations Center briefing.
