ISAAC: Closures and cancellations in South Florida and the Treasure Coast

TRAFFIC CONDITIONS and FLIGHT STATUS AT PBI, FLL and MIA
Broward County Schools closed Monday
Miami-Dade County Schools closed on Monday
Palm Beach County Schools OPEN on Monday.
All offices and operations of the Palm Beach County Health Department will be open regularly scheduled hours Monday. Employees should report at their regularly scheduled times. All appointments at the Seven Health Centers will be honored as scheduled. The Health Centers are located in Delray Beach, Lantana, West Palm Beach, Riviera Beach, Jupiter, Belle Glade and Pahokee. The WIC center in Greenacres will also be open as scheduled. The central appointment line for all health centers is 1-855-Get-Appt (438-2778) or 561-625-5180.
Florida Atlantic University classes are cancelled for Monday.
Florida International University campus is closed until Tuesday.
Palm Beach public beach is closed Sunday due to high winds and heavy surf.
Shelters opened at 6 A.M. Sunday for those in substandard housing in Palm Beach County: Saint John First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 SW 8th St., Belle Glade, FL 33430; Westgate Park and Recreation Center, 3691 Oswego Ave., West Palm Beach, Fl 33409; West Boynton Park and Recreation Center, 6000 Northtree Blvd., Lake Worth, FL 33463.
Palm Beach County libraries will be closed on Sunday.
Palm Beach County parks will be closed on Sunday.
Palm Tran Fixed Route and Palm Tran Connection service on Sunday is cancelled.
All activities at Palm Beach County schools on Sunday are cancelled.
All TSA personnel are expected to report for duty as scheduled at MIA, FLL and PBI.
Tropical Storm Isaac has cancelled several flights departing from Palm Beach International Airport on Sunday. Airlines reporting flight cancellations include American Airlines, Air Tran Airways, IBC Airlines and Southwest Airlines. All other airlines are reporting normal operations for Sunday. Most airlines will assess the weather on Sunday before making cancellation announcements for Monday. As with any flight, you should check with your airline to confirm your flight information.
