WEST PALM BEACH -- Local Red Cross volunteers are also standing by to help if any disasters strike because of the storm. About 40 employees and volunteers are working at the Regional Disaster Operations Center in West Palm Beach.

They also have a team in Vero Beach. They tell CBS12 they're ready to assist emergency personnel any way they can during the storm. Volunteers are also answering phone calls from people on a variety of topics.
